For the month of April we chose to highlight a new organization for our company. As many of you know, April is Autism Awareness Month and so we chose Autism Support of West Shore (ASWS) for our April GIVE Project. They have been a tremendous support to many families in West Michigan.
Part of ASWS’s mission is to increase awareness, support, acceptance, and hope for those individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as their families. ASWS knows that each individual on the Autism Spectrum faces different challenges to daily living so they aim to provide that needed support as best they can through a number of different avenues:
– Family Scholarships
– Teacher Scholarships
– Free Family Events
– Speaker Series for Families
– YMCA Camp Inclusion Opportunities
And so much more…
